Skin overview

In Well-Worn the grid of Xs and squares is broken up by larger patches of bare metal on the edges and raised parts of the pistol. The small coloured marks become patchy, and the overall tone shifts toward darker, uneven grey. It is a low-cost way to have the pattern with a visibly weathered character.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The receiver, frame and grip are covered in a fine grid of small grey Xs, squares and dots, with orange and red marks scattered across it. A thin technical line drawing sits on the lower receiver above the trigger guard.

Wear spreads from the edges onto the flat sides of the receiver and grip, leaving patches of bare metal. The coloured marks thin out and the line drawing becomes partly erased. At normal distance the pistol looks noticeably weathered and darker. Recessed areas around the trigger guard keep the pattern best.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Perimeter is 0–1; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (7% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Spy Tech Collection with 17 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in orange, red or muted grey tones match the warm accents of the grid. Placing them on the flat side of the receiver keeps the dense pattern readable around them, while bright cold colours tend to clash with the finish.

What to check before buying

• Check the float position within the wear range, since the edges of the receiver and frame show the difference first.
• Look at the line drawing on the lower receiver, as it is one of the first details to lose clarity.
• On Souvenir copies, check which pre-applied stickers are on the gun and how they sit on the receiver.
• Look for applied stickers or a name tag that may change how the item fits your loadout.
