Skin overview

UMP-45 | Briefing covers the SMG in a slate grey-blue topographic map with thin contour lines, set off by bright red accents on the sights, rail and trigger guard. In Factory New the contour lines stay crisp and the red details keep their full saturation against the dark base. This is the version for buyers who want the map pattern exactly as designed.

Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Factory New

The receiver and the skeletal stock carry a slate grey-blue topographic map with thin darker contour lines and a few faint red lines running through the pattern. The handguard, magazine, pistol grip and vertical foregrip are a dark olive-grey, which keeps the map confined to the upper body of the gun.

The finish is complete on every part, with sharp contour lines and solid red accents. The edges of the rail, sights and magazine show no marks. In game the map reads as a smooth grey-blue surface with clear red highlights. Everything looks clean.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir UMP-45 | Briefing is 0–1; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (7% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, black and grey stickers match the trim and the map palette, and muted blue designs blend into the receiver. Placing a red sticker near the rear sight or along the receiver repeats the existing accents without crowding the contour lines.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the red accents on raised parts show damage early.
  • Look at the front sight, rail edges and magazine corners on the inspect screen, as these wear first.
  • Look at the condition of the stock outline, which carries a large part of the map pattern.
  • Check any applied stickers or name tag, which may add to or detract from the look.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the map lines and red accents in full condition.
  • Sticker crafters who need a clean base for a matching red or grey craft.
  • The choice for those who want Briefing without compromise.
