Show allAllSkin overview
Caramel in Battle-Scarred keeps its basic idea, a dark SMG with orange rails and stock, but the paint is heavily chipped. Large areas of metal show through on the orange parts, and the grey body is worn on every protruding edge. It is the most beaten-up version of the finish and the cheapest way to get the colour scheme.
Item type: smg. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The receiver, barrel shroud, magazine, pistol grip and vertical foregrip are painted a solid dark grey with a slightly matte look. The top Picatinny rail, the side rail section on the handguard and the whole folding skeleton stock are a solid caramel orange.
Much of the orange is gone from the stock and rails, leaving metal across most of their surfaces. The grey paint is worn through on every edge of the receiver, barrel, magazine and grip. Only the central flat areas of the body keep a reasonably even colour. In game the weapon reads as a heavily used tool with traces of orange.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.8
The float of Souvenir UMP-45 | Caramel ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.8 — 47% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir UMP-45 | Caramel belongs to The Assault Collection, which holds 7 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Price by quality
Among 7 skins of the UMP-45 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in orange, gold, black or white repeat the two-tone scheme and sit well on the dark grey receiver. A single bright orange sticker on the receiver links the body to the caramel stock and rails. Busy multicoloured stickers tend to break the clean look of the finish.
What to check before buying
- Look at the float within the chosen wear, since orange parts show chips much more clearly than the grey body.
- Check the rail teeth and the stock frame in the inspect view, as these lose paint first.
- The finish has no pattern, so the pattern index does not change the look.
- Souvenir copies come with fixed stickers, so check whether they suit you before buying.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Players looking for the cheapest entry into this finish.
- Fans of heavily battered weapons with bare metal showing.
- Conclusion: the budget pick for those who value the scheme over condition.
