Show allAllSkin overview
In Battle-Scarred the Crime Scene paint shows heavy loss, with bare metal coming through on the magazine, receiver top and handguard. The colour scheme remains readable from a distance, but the caution tape is broken into fragments. This is the most affordable way to carry the design, and the worn look suits the theme.
Item type: smg. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The receiver and stock are covered in a red, purple and blue gradient that shifts across the weapon like flashing emergency lights. A yellow strip with black lettering reading CRIME SCENE and DO NOT CROSS runs along the upper receiver, and the handguard carries yellow-and-black hazard stripes next to a pale panel with black markings.
Large areas of the magazine and handguard are worn to bare metal, and the caution tape survives only in fragments. Edges of the stock and receiver are heavily scratched. From a distance the red and blue base is still recognisable. Only the more protected central areas of the receiver sides look relatively intact.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.75
The whole float range of Souvenir UMP-45 | Crime Scene is 0–0.75; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.75 segment (40% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir UMP-45 | Crime Scene belongs to The Control Collection, which holds 19 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Yellow, black or holographic stickers match the caution tape and work well on the handguard or the lower receiver, away from the lettering. Red or blue stickers blend into the base gradient for a calmer craft.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, because the tape lettering and magazine stripes show the difference first.
- Inspect the magazine edges and the top of the receiver, since these parts lose paint before the rest of the weapon.
- Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so make sure their placement does not cover the caution tape if that matters to you.
- Look at any stickers and name tag on the listing to see whether they suit the red, blue and yellow scheme.
