Show allAllSkin overview
The Crime Scene finish is recognisable by its red and blue colouring and the yellow-and-black tape motif on the receiver, handguard and magazine. Minimal Wear keeps the bright colours and the tape lettering intact, with only small marks that are hard to spot outside close inspection. It gives nearly the full look of the clean grade at a lower grade.
Item type: smg. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The receiver and stock are covered in a red, purple and blue gradient that shifts across the weapon like flashing emergency lights. A yellow strip with black lettering reading CRIME SCENE and DO NOT CROSS runs along the upper receiver, and the handguard carries yellow-and-black hazard stripes next to a pale panel with black markings.
Small specks may appear on the magazine edges and the corners of the handguard. The tape lettering and the hazard stripes remain fully intact. At normal distance in game it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. The receiver sides and stock look clean.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The float of Souvenir UMP-45 | Crime Scene ranges from 0 to 0.75; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 11% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir UMP-45 | Crime Scene belongs to The Control Collection, which holds 19 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Yellow, black or holographic stickers match the caution tape and work well on the handguard or the lower receiver, away from the lettering. Red or blue stickers blend into the base gradient for a calmer craft.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, because the tape lettering and magazine stripes show the difference first.
- Inspect the magazine edges and the top of the receiver, since these parts lose paint before the rest of the weapon.
- Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so make sure their placement does not cover the caution tape if that matters to you.
- Look at any stickers and name tag on the listing to see whether they suit the red, blue and yellow scheme.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
- Crafters for whom tiny specks on the edges do not matter.
- A practical alternative to Factory New.
