Skin overview

Plastique on the UMP-45 combines a green circuit board, coloured wires and a number pad with plain grey parts on the stock and magazine. In Battle-Scarred much of the artwork is scraped through to metal, leaving the green as broken fragments around the centre of the receiver. It is the most affordable way to get the design, with a heavily used, salvaged look.

Item type: smg. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver is the focus: its sides are painted as a green printed circuit board with traces, small chips and a number pad above the trigger, plus a dark display panel near the top. Red, blue and purple wires run across the front of the receiver towards the barrel, and a striped wire bundle sits near the rear.

The edges, the front of the receiver and the magazine are largely bare metal. The wires are mostly gone, and the keypad survives only as faint fragments. Green remains in patches on the central part of the receiver sides. In game the weapon looks heavily used, with the circuit theme recognisable mainly by colour.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8

The float of Souvenir UMP-45 | Plastique ranges from 0 to 0.8; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.8 — 44% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir UMP-45 | Plastique belongs to The CS20 Collection, which holds 17 skins.

It drops from CS20 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Green, black and silver stickers blend with the circuit board, while small red or blue accents echo the wires. Placements on the plain grey stock or the dark magazine keep the receiver artwork uncluttered.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the wire bundle near the barrel shows wear early.
  • Look at the front of the receiver and the magazine edges on inspect screenshots, as these lose paint first.
  • Make sure the keypad and the display area are still readable if those details matter to you.
  • Review any applied stickers and name tag, because they change the look of a busy receiver.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Budget players who want the skin mainly for its green colour in game.
  • Fans of heavily scraped, salvaged-looking finishes.
  • Conclusion: the cheapest entry to the design, with most details lost.
