Skin overview

The Plastique finish turns the UMP-45 into something that looks wired up from the inside, with bright green circuitry running along the receiver. In Minimal Wear the picture is practically complete, with only faint marks that are hard to spot outside close inspection. It keeps the clean look of the top grade with a little less pressure on the float.

Item type: smg. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver is the focus: its sides are painted as a green printed circuit board with traces, small chips and a number pad above the trigger, plus a dark display panel near the top. Red, blue and purple wires run across the front of the receiver towards the barrel, and a striped wire bundle sits near the rear.

Tiny scuffs may appear on the front edge of the receiver and the lower corners of the magazine. The green board, the wires and the keypad remain fully readable. These marks are hard to notice without inspecting the weapon closely. In game it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir UMP-45 | Plastique is 0–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (10% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The CS20 Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is CS20 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Green, black and silver stickers blend with the circuit board, while small red or blue accents echo the wires. Placements on the plain grey stock or the dark magazine keep the receiver artwork uncluttered.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the wire bundle near the barrel shows wear early.
  • Look at the front of the receiver and the magazine edges on inspect screenshots, as these lose paint first.
  • Make sure the keypad and the display area are still readable if those details matter to you.
  • Review any applied stickers and name tag, because they change the look of a busy receiver.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want an almost perfect look without chasing the top grade.
  • Crafters who accept tiny edge marks hidden under normal play.
  • Conclusion: a practical alternative to Factory New with nearly the same appearance.
