Show allAllSkin overview
XM1014 | Frost Borre is a Mil-Spec Grade shotgun skin that covers the barrel, magazine tube and receiver in deep navy, with a Norse pattern of silver interlocking rings. The pump and stock stay a muted grey metal, which frames the blue sections and keeps the look restrained. In Factory New the anodized blue is even and saturated, and the silver rings read as crisp, thin lines.
Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Factory New
The barrel and the magazine tube below it are finished in dark navy blue with silver interlocking rings and wave-like curves running along their length. The receiver carries the same navy base and ring pattern, while the ribbed pump grip, pistol grip and skeleton stock are left in muted grey metal with darker accents.
The navy anodizing is uniform across the barrel, magazine tube and receiver with no visible marks. The silver rings have sharp, clean edges and full contrast against the blue. In game the skin looks smooth and evenly coloured from any angle. The grey pump and stock are equally clean.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The whole float range of Souvenir XM1014 | Frost Borre is 0–0.5; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (14% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Norse Collection with 18 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Silver, white, ice-blue and holographic stickers match the frosty palette and the metallic ring pattern. The navy receiver side is the best spot, where stickers sit against the blue rather than the grey stock. Bright warm colours tend to break the cold, restrained look.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end show fewer edge scratches.
- Look at the muzzle, the top of the barrel and the receiver corners, as these lose the navy finish first.
- Make sure any applied stickers suit the cold blue and silver palette rather than clash with it.
- Check whether a name tag is attached and whether it matches your taste.
Who the Factory New quality suits
- Collectors who want the cleanest navy finish with sharp silver rings.
- Players planning a sticker craft on an unmarked receiver.
- The choice for those who want the skin exactly as designed.
