Skin overview

Frost Borre is recognisable by the Norse knot work in silver over dark blue anodizing, set against the plain grey pump and stock. Field-Tested copies show light scuffs on the muzzle and edges, while the ring pattern on the barrel and receiver remains readable. It is a practical middle grade that keeps the skin's character intact.

Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The barrel and the magazine tube below it are finished in dark navy blue with silver interlocking rings and wave-like curves running along their length. The receiver carries the same navy base and ring pattern, while the ribbed pump grip, pistol grip and skeleton stock are left in muted grey metal with darker accents.

Scuffs become visible on the muzzle ends, the top edge of the barrel and the corners of the receiver, where lighter metal shows through the navy. The middle of the barrel and the magazine tube keep their pattern largely clean. In game the wear reads as light handling marks rather than damage. The grey parts show only faint scratches.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir XM1014 | Frost Borre ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 46% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Norse Collection with 18 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Silver, white, ice-blue and holographic stickers match the frosty palette and the metallic ring pattern. The navy receiver side is the best spot, where stickers sit against the blue rather than the grey stock. Bright warm colours tend to break the cold, restrained look.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end show fewer edge scratches.
  • Look at the muzzle, the top of the barrel and the receiver corners, as these lose the navy finish first.
  • Make sure any applied stickers suit the cold blue and silver palette rather than clash with it.
  • Check whether a name tag is attached and whether it matches your taste.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who want the full ring pattern in game without paying for a clean finish.
  • Owners who like a lightly used look on a shotgun.
  • A practical everyday choice for regular play.
