Skin overview

SSG 08 | Blue Spruce is a Consumer Grade finish where individual parts of the rifle are spray-painted in solid colours of a moss scheme. A deep blue-green body is paired with pale mint details on the scope, grip and stock pad. In Factory New every colour block stays flat and even, so the contrast between the two greens is at its sharpest.

Item type: sniper rifle. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

Appearance in Factory New

The receiver and handguard are painted in a dark blue-green, while the barrel and muzzle brake stay dark grey. The scope tube, scope rings, pistol grip, cheek rest and butt pad are a pale mint green, which makes them stand out against the darker frame. The bipod and the skeleton stock frame mix dark metal with teal pieces, and there is no pattern, only flat colour blocks. On worn copies the paint chips first on the muzzle, the scope edges, the rail on the handguard and the corners of the stock, then spreads over the receiver.

Factory New covers only a narrow slice at the very bottom of this skin's float range. The paint on the receiver, scope and stock is even and unbroken. In game the rifle looks clean in every part, with sharp borders between the teal and mint areas.
