Skin overview

This is a simple two-tone green SSG 08 with no pattern of its own. In Well-Worn the solid paint is chipped on many edges and on the scope, so bare metal becomes part of the look. The rifle keeps its green identity but feels rougher and more utilitarian.

Item type: sniper rifle. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The receiver and handguard are painted in a dark blue-green, while the barrel and muzzle brake stay dark grey. The scope tube, scope rings, pistol grip, cheek rest and butt pad are a pale mint green, which makes them stand out against the darker frame.

Well-Worn shows bare metal along most edges, across the scope tube and on the bipod. The handguard and receiver have noticeable patches where the teal paint is gone. In game the rifle still looks green overall, but the wear is obvious on the scope.

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, because chips on the scope and muzzle grow quickly toward the worse end.
• Pattern does not matter here, since the finish is made of solid colour blocks.
• Souvenir copies come with fixed stickers, so check whether they suit the green scheme.
