Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred the sand paint is heavily worn through, leaving a patchy mix of beige and bare metal on the body, scope and bipod. The dark barrel hides wear best, so the front of the rifle looks calmer than the rest. It is the most weathered version of a simple finish and the cheapest way to put the skin in the inventory.

Item type: sniper rifle. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, handguard and chassis are sprayed in a light sand tan, with the rail section on top of the handguard in a slightly darker shade. The barrel and muzzle brake stay dark grey to black, giving the main contrast of the finish.

The tan coat is broken across the whole body, with large worn areas on the handguard, scope, mounts and bipod. The stock and grip are patchy, and the edges are mostly bare. In game the finish reads as faded sand mixed with grey. The dark barrel changes the least and keeps the front looking relatively even.
