StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Cyrex (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

Cyrex dresses the M4A1-S in black, white and red, and that colour split survives even on the most worn copies. In Battle-Scarred the suppressor, magazine and receiver graphics carry heavy wear, with dark metal breaking through the red and white. Because the float range of this skin ends early, the damage stops short of a fully stripped look.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The suppressor is dark grey with a red section near its base carrying small white markings, and the barrel behind it is red up to the black ribbed handguard. The receiver is black with white and red panels and a small white emblem, while the carry handle has a thin red accent.

Heavy wear covers the suppressor and the magazine, and the red sections are broken up by large patches of bare metal. The receiver graphics and white panels are noticeably damaged, and the grip shows clear scuffing. Because the skin's float range ends early, the finish never reaches a fully stripped state. At normal distance the colour scheme is still recognisable.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.5

The float of StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Cyrex ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.5 — 10% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Price by quality

Among 8 skins of the M4A1-S in the Covert grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter. Right now the StatTrak™ version is 4% dearer than the regular one.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in red, white, black or holographic silver fit the Cyrex scheme best. Placements on the black parts of the receiver and the handguard read cleanly against the dark base without covering the red artwork.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within its wear grade, since lower values keep the suppressor and magazine noticeably cleaner.
• Inspect the suppressor and the bottom of the magazine first, as these parts show wear before the rest of the rifle.
• Look at applied stickers and their condition, because they can clash with the red and white panels.
• Decide whether you want a StatTrak™ or Souvenir version, as both exist for this skin.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

• The most budget-minded players who want this skin in their loadout.
• Fans of heavy wear, knowing the finish never fully strips.
• In short, the cheapest entry with the colours still recognisable.
