Skin overview

XM1014 | Charter covers the shotgun's barrel, magazine tube and receiver with a dark olive-brown base printed with tan crests, scrawls and lines of Magna Carta text. In Factory New the tan script stays crisp and the dark ground keeps an even tone, so the document motif reads clearly up close. It suits a buyer who wants this muted, archival look exactly as designed.

Item type: shotgun. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Appearance in Factory New

The barrel and the magazine tube beneath it are fully covered with a dark olive-brown base carrying tan crests, flourishes and lines of handwritten text. The same pattern continues across the side and top of the receiver, while the ribbed pump handguard stays a plain dark grey-brown. The grip is light grey polymer, and the stock is dark with lighter grey edges, so the pattern is concentrated on the front half of the weapon. On worn copies the muzzle, the rail edges on the receiver and the long edges of the barrel lose the tan print first, followed by the raised parts of the magazine tube.

The tan crests and script are sharp along the whole barrel and receiver, with no breaks in the lettering. The dark base has a uniform tone from muzzle to receiver. In game the weapon looks clean and evenly patterned. Every part, including the muzzle and rail edges, is untouched.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The whole float range of XM1014 | Charter is 0–0.65; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (11% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in tan, gold, brown or muted red match the parchment-and-ink theme of the pattern. Placing them on the plain pump handguard or the receiver side keeps the barrel script uncovered.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float in a worn grade keeps noticeably more script on the barrel.
  • Inspect the muzzle and the receiver rail first, as these parts lose the tan print earliest.
  • If you consider a Souvenir copy, look at which stickers it carries and how they sit on the receiver.
  • Look at the name tag and any applied stickers, because they change how the calm document pattern reads.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the crests and script fully intact.
  • Sticker crafters who need a clean, even base for a themed build.
  • Conclusion: the grade for those who value detail over savings.
