Skin overview

Charter turns the XM1014 into a weapon wrapped in old parchment-style writing: tan crests and script on a dark olive-brown finish along the barrel and receiver. In Field-Tested the edges and the muzzle start to show scuffs, but the busy pattern hides much of this and the overall tone stays calm. It is the grade where the aged-document theme and visible use sit together naturally.

Item type: shotgun. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The barrel and the magazine tube beneath it are fully covered with a dark olive-brown base carrying tan crests, flourishes and lines of handwritten text. The same pattern continues across the side and top of the receiver, while the ribbed pump handguard stays a plain dark grey-brown.

Scuffs become visible around the muzzle, along the barrel edges and on the receiver rail. Some of the tan script near these edges looks thinner or broken. In game the dense pattern masks most of the wear, and the shotgun still reads as clearly patterned. The central parts of the receiver sides and the magazine tube keep most of the print.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of XM1014 | Charter ranges from 0 to 0.65; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 35% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Control Collection with 19 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in tan, gold, brown or muted red match the parchment-and-ink theme of the pattern. Placing them on the plain pump handguard or the receiver side keeps the barrel script uncovered.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float in a worn grade keeps noticeably more script on the barrel.
  • Inspect the muzzle and the receiver rail first, as these parts lose the tan print earliest.
  • If you consider a Souvenir copy, look at which stickers it carries and how they sit on the receiver.
  • Look at the name tag and any applied stickers, because they change how the calm document pattern reads.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who want the pattern clearly visible in game while saving money.
  • Fans of the aged-document theme, which tolerates light wear well.
  • Conclusion: a practical everyday choice for this shotgun.
