★ Bowie Knife | Black Laminate (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

★ Bowie Knife | Black Laminate is a plain, rugged finish whose stonewashed blade was meant to look used from the start. In Battle-Scarred that idea goes further: the grip layers and guard look heavily rubbed, and the blade appears rougher. It is the most affordable way to carry this knife with a coherent, field-worn look.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The blade is stonewashed steel in dark grey with lighter mottling toward the edge and the clipped point, and the sawback teeth run along the spine. The crossguard and pommel are dark, nearly black metal.

The guard, pommel and grip curves are heavily rubbed, and the laminate bands look faded and patchy. The spine teeth and blade edge show the strongest wear. The blade reads as rough, uneven steel. In game it gives a battered, utilitarian impression that fits the finish's rugged idea.

• Compare how the laminate bands fall on the handle, because their placement can differ between copies.
• Note whether the knife is StatTrak™ or carries a name tag if that matters to you.
