★ Bowie Knife | Doppler (Ruby) is a large sawback knife whose blade is covered entirely in deep red with darker marbled clouds running through it. The copper-toned guard and pommel and the dark textured grip frame the colour without competing with it. In Factory New the candy coat reads as one unbroken, glossy red surface from the clip point to the guard.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.
Appearance in Factory New
The whole blade, including the clip point and the sawback teeth along the spine, is coated in a saturated ruby red with darker wine-coloured marbled clouds spread across the flat. The guard and the pommel cap are in a warm copper-orange metal tone that echoes the red of the blade. The grip is a dark grey to black textured slab held by two visible bolts and stays outside the finish. The placement of the darker marbling differs between copies, so some blades look more evenly red and others more clouded. On worn copies the first marks appear at the tip, along the cutting edge and on the raised teeth of the spine, followed by scuffs on the edges of the guard and pommel.
In Factory New the red coat covers the blade, spine teeth and tip without visible scratches. The copper guard and pommel keep clean, even edges. In game at normal distance the blade reads as a solid, bright ruby surface with soft dark marbling. Close inspection of the tip and the serrations is where a high float in this grade would first show anything at all.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The float of ★ Bowie Knife | Doppler Ruby ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 88% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy
- Look at the float within the range, since a low Factory New and a borderline Minimal Wear copy differ mostly in value rather than in visible look.
- Compare the inspect view of the blade, because the amount and placement of the dark marbling varies between copies.
- Check the tip and the sawback teeth closely, as these are the first places where scratches show.
- Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ or has a name tag, since both change who the knife suits.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want the Ruby phase in its cleanest form and care about the float.
- Players who inspect their knife often and want an unbroken red coat up close.
- This grade is for buyers who want the finish exactly as intended, with no compromise.
