Show allAllSkin overview
Battle-Scarred is the most worn version of this grey tape-stencil camouflage, with much of the blade showing bare steel. What remains of the paint sits mostly in patches on the flat of the blade and on the handle. The result reads as a weathered silver knife with faint traces of urban camo, which some buyers prefer to a clean finish.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The whole knife is sprayed in a cold palette of white, light grey and blue-grey, laid down in angular patches separated by thin darker lines from the masking tape. On the blade the patches run across the clipped point, the flat and up to the sawback teeth along the spine.
Most of the blade shows bare steel, with only scattered patches of grey and white left on the flat. The guard, pommel and the edges of the handle are heavily worn. In game the knife reads mainly as weathered metal with traces of camouflage. Paint holds longest on the central part of the handle.

What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits inside the wear grade, since the edge, tip and sawback lose paint first.
- Look at the pattern placement, because some copies show more white on the blade and others more grey.
- Inspect the guard and pommel on worn copies, as scraped edges there change the overall look.
- Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag you want to keep.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Players who want the cheapest way into this Bowie Knife finish.
- Buyers who like a weathered silver knife with traces of camo.
- Conclusion: the budget entry for those who prefer a worn look.
