★ Bowie Knife | Urban Masked covers the large Bowie blade in a muted urban camouflage of pale grey, white and soft blue-grey patches. The shapes are angular because the paint was sprayed over tangled masking tape, which gives the finish a cut, layered look. In Factory New the patches keep crisp borders and the light tones stay even across the blade and handle.

Appearance in Factory New

The whole knife is sprayed in a cold palette of white, light grey and blue-grey, laid down in angular patches separated by thin darker lines from the masking tape. On the blade the patches run across the clipped point, the flat and up to the sawback teeth along the spine. The guard, the handle with its rivets and the pommel carry the same camouflage, so the knife reads as one continuous surface. On worn copies the paint goes first from the cutting edge, the tip, the sawback teeth and the edges of the guard and pommel, revealing bare steel underneath.

The paint covers the blade, guard and handle evenly, with sharp borders between the grey and white patches. Any bare metal is limited to tiny points on the sawback and edge, if present at all. In game at normal distance the knife looks clean and uniform. This grade sits in a narrow band at the very bottom of the skin's float range.

Factory New quality — float range 0.06–0.07

The whole float range of ★ Bowie Knife | Urban Masked is 0.06–0.8; Factory New takes the 0.06–0.07 segment (1% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
