Skin overview
The appeal of Safari Mesh is its restraint: a soft green-grey base, a lighter mesh stencil and no bright accents. In Minimal Wear that look is practically intact, with only fine marks on the very edge of the blade that are hard to spot outside close inspection. For many buyers this grade is the sensible way to get a near-clean balisong without hunting the narrow Factory New range.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The blade, handles and pivot area are painted in a dusty olive-grey base with a lighter sage net pattern sprayed through a mesh stencil, giving rounded, cell-like shapes along the whole length. The clip-point blade carries the mesh up to the tip, while the spine and serrated section near the pivot are slightly darker.
Light scuffs appear on the very edge of the blade and occasionally at the tip. The handles and pivot area remain fully painted. At normal distance the knife looks almost identical to Factory New, as the soft mesh hides small marks well. Differences show up mainly in close inspection of the blade.

What to look at before you buy
- Check the float within the chosen grade, since the cutting edge and tip are the first places where paint disappears.
- Look at the handle rims and the area around the holes on worn copies to see how much of the mesh is left.
- Decide whether you want the StatTrak™ version, as it exists for this knife and is priced separately.
- The pattern placement changes little between copies, so condition matters more than pattern here.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Buyers who want a near-clean look without searching for Factory New.
- Players who rarely inspect the blade closely and value the overall impression.
- Conclusion: practically the same look as the cleanest grade with an easier search.
