Battle-Scarred is the most worn version of the Case Hardened push daggers, with the heat-tinted patches heavily scratched and muted. The blue and gold are still present in the larger areas of the blades, but the overall look is rough and darker. It is the most affordable way to carry this knife and finish.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
Both daggers share one finish: the double-edged blades and the T-shaped handles with their finger cut-outs are covered in a case-hardened patina over silver steel. Gold and pale yellow tones fill much of the blades, broken by patches of blue and violet that spread across the flats and run onto the handle frames.
Heavy scratching covers the edges, tips and handle frames, with large areas of bare or darkened steel. The patina on the blade flats is muted and broken by wear marks. In game the blue and gold tones are still visible at normal distance, but the knife looks rough up close. No part of the daggers remains fully clean.

What to look at before you buy
- Compare the amount of blue and gold on both blades, since the pattern defines the look of each copy as much as the wear does.
- Check the blade tips and the rims of the handle cut-outs, as these lose colour first.
- Look at where the float sits within the wear grade, because copies near the cleaner end show noticeably less scuffing.
- Make sure the visible side in the inspect animation carries the colours you want, as the two daggers can differ.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Players looking for the lowest-cost way to own this knife and finish.
- Buyers who care more about the knife model than the condition of the patina.
- The budget entry for those who accept a rough look.
