Skin overview

The patina on these daggers is a blend of blue, gold and violet tones on polished metal, recognisable even when the knife has seen heavy use. At Well-Worn the colours look duller and broken up by scratches, with bare steel showing along the edges and the handle frame. It suits buyers who want the Case Hardened character without paying for a clean finish.

Appearance in Well-Worn

Both daggers share one finish: the double-edged blades and the T-shaped handles with their finger cut-outs are covered in a case-hardened patina over silver steel. Gold and pale yellow tones fill much of the blades, broken by patches of blue and violet that spread across the flats and run onto the handle frames.

Scratches spread from the edges onto the blade flats, and the handle frames show bare steel along their rims. The colours look duller and the borders between zones become patchy. In game the knife still reads as Case Hardened, but the finish looks visibly used during inspect. Only the larger coloured areas in the middle of the blades stay fairly solid.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

• Compare the amount of blue and gold on both blades, since the pattern defines the look of each copy as much as the wear does.
