★ Bowie Knife | Crimson Web pairs a deep red blade with a thin black spider web print laid over it by hydrographic. In Factory New the red base coat is solid from tip to guard, and the web lines stay sharp across the whole blade, including the sawback teeth. The float range starts higher than usual for this finish, so Factory New copies fall into a narrow band at the top of the grade.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Factory New
The whole blade of the Bowie Knife, including the clip point and the sawback teeth on the spine, is painted red with a semi-gloss topcoat. A thin black spider web is printed over it by hydrographic, and its lines run across the flat of the blade.
The red coat is unbroken across the blade, and the web lines are crisp up to the tip. The sawback teeth and cutting edge keep full colour. In game the knife reads as a clean glossy red blade with a clear black web. The handle and guard look the same in every grade.
Factory New wear: float 0.06–0.07
The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Bowie Knife | Crimson Web is 0.06–0.8; Factory New takes the 0.06–0.07 segment (1% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
It drops from Operation Wildfire Case as a rare special item.
What it costs in each quality
Among 23 skins of the Bowie Knife in the Covert grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
StatTrak™ version
This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter. Right now the StatTrak™ version is 8.7× cheaper than the regular one.
What to check before buying
- Look at the pattern: the placement of the web lines and their centres on the visible side of the blade changes how the skin looks.
- Check the tip, cutting edge and sawback teeth, as they lose paint first.
- Compare the float within the grade, since copies near the lower end of a grade look noticeably cleaner.
- Check whether the knife has a name tag and whether it is the StatTrak™ version you want.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want the web pattern fully intact on a clean red blade.
- Buyers looking for a well-placed web pattern, since it shows best in this grade.
- Conclusion: the top choice for those who value condition first.
