Skin overview

Minimal Wear keeps the main appeal of Crimson Web on the Bowie Knife: a red blade covered in a dark web pattern, set against a plain dark handle. Small marks may appear at the tip and along the cutting edge, but they are hard to spot outside close inspection. This grade gives almost the same look in hand as Factory New, with a wider choice of copies.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The whole blade of the Bowie Knife, including the clip point and the sawback teeth on the spine, is painted red with a semi-gloss topcoat. A thin black spider web is printed over it by hydrographic, and its lines run across the flat of the blade.

Light scuffs may appear at the very tip and on the tops of the sawback teeth. The cutting edge can show faint lighter spots. At normal distance in game the blade looks practically identical to Factory New. The web pattern stays complete on the flat of the blade.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The float of ★ StatTrak™ Bowie Knife | Crimson Web ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 11% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

It drops from Operation Wildfire Case as a rare special item.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the pattern: the placement of the web lines and their centres on the visible side of the blade changes how the skin looks.
  • Check the tip, cutting edge and sawback teeth, as they lose paint first.
  • Compare the float within the grade, since copies near the lower end of a grade look noticeably cleaner.
  • Check whether the knife has a name tag and whether it is the StatTrak™ version you want.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want a near-clean look without hunting the narrow Factory New band.
  • Buyers who inspect pattern placement but accept tiny marks at the tip.
  • Conclusion: a sensible balance between appearance and availability.
