Show allAllSkin overview
Night pairs a dark slate blade with a brown handle and grey-teal guard and pommel, a quiet finish meant to look like field gear. In Field-Tested the paint begins to give way on the edges and raised parts, which suits the utilitarian character of the knife rather than spoiling it.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The blade is painted a flat dark slate grey with a faint blue cast, with a slightly lighter line running along the cutting edge and the clip point. The serrated spine teeth carry the same dark colour as the blade.
Wear becomes visible along the cutting edge and the tip, and the spine teeth start to show bare metal on their points. The guard tips and the pommel cap pick up light scuffs. The flat of the blade and the handle still look mostly intact, so in game the knife reads as dark with a lighter worn outline.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Bowie Knife | Night is 0.06–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
It is the rare special item of Operation Wildfire Case — knives and gloves drop far less often than the regular contents.
What it costs in each quality
Among 18 skins of the Bowie Knife in the Covert grade and this quality, this skin ranks 7th by price, counting from the dearest.
StatTrak™ version

What to check before buying
- The float range of this skin starts inside Factory New, so only a narrow slice of floats qualifies for the cleanest grade.
- Pattern does not matter here because the finish is solid colour, so compare copies by float and inspect screenshots instead.
- Check the cutting edge, tip and spine teeth first, since these show bare metal earliest.
- Look for a name tag and decide whether you want a StatTrak™ counter, as both change how the knife is listed.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who like a used, utilitarian look that fits the field-gear theme.
- Budget buyers who still want a mostly dark blade.
- A practical pick for everyday play.
