Skin overview
The Case Hardened patina on this Flip Knife mixes gold, bronze and blue tones on a back-swept blade. At Well-Worn the metal shows noticeable scratching and the colours look duller, especially towards the edge and tip. The knife keeps its shape and animations, so the grade mainly trades finish clarity for a lower entry point.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The back-swept blade carries the whole finish: a heat-treated patina where gold and bronze metal is mixed with patches of blue and purple. The spine near the guard has a serrated section, and the coloured patches flow across it as well as over the flat of the blade.
Scratches are noticeable over most of the blade, and the edge and tip look clearly worn. The colours are duller, with the blue patches losing some of their depth. During inspect the wear is obvious, while in normal play the multicoloured blade is still recognisable. The handle may show light scuffs, mostly towards the end of the grip.
Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45
The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Flip Knife | Case Hardened is 0–1; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (7% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying
- Look at the pattern on the actual copy, since the amount and placement of blue differ between blades.
- Check both sides of the blade in inspect, because the pattern on one side does not predict the other.
- Note where the float sits within the wear grade, as copies at the cleaner end show more saturated colour.
- Look at the tip and cutting edge first, as these show wear earliest.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Players on a tighter budget who still want visible colour on the blade.
- Those who mostly value the knife model and its animations.
- Conclusion: a cheaper way in with noticeable wear.
