Show allAllSkin overview
Safari Mesh turns the Survival Knife into a field tool painted in sand, khaki and faded olive with a stencilled fence pattern. In Field-Tested the spray paint starts to give way along the cutting edge, the serrations and the gut hook, letting bare steel show through. The camouflage still reads clearly, and the light scuffing suits the rough, improvised character of the finish.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The whole knife is covered in a spray-painted camouflage of sand, light khaki and greyish olive, with a darker net pattern laid over it through mesh fencing and cardboard stencils. On the blade the tones shift softly from grey-green near the tip to warmer sand toward the guard, and the net runs across the flat and around the long slot.
Paint is noticeably worn along the cutting edge, across the serrations and on the gut hook, where bare steel now forms visible lines. The raised ridges of the handle begin to show light scuffs. In game the camouflage is still the dominant impression, with a few bright metal glints on the edges during inspect. The blade flat and recessed grip panels keep their pattern clear.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The float of ★ StatTrak™ Survival Knife | Safari Mesh ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 31% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the chosen wear, since a low value keeps the edge and serrations noticeably cleaner.
- Inspect the cutting edge, the serrations and the gut hook first, because these parts lose paint before anything else.
- Pattern placement shifts the mesh slightly from copy to copy but rarely changes the overall look, so focus on wear rather than seed.
- Knives cannot carry stickers, so only a name tag and the StatTrak™ counter can set one copy apart from another.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who want a knife for everyday use and like a lightly used look.
- Fans of utilitarian finishes for whom edge wear fits the field-tool theme.
- Conclusion: the most practical grade for play.
