★ Talon Knife | Rust Coat is a karambit with a grey steel blade covered in rust and an ivory handle with brass rivets. In Well-Worn the rust still sits in patches, so areas of grey metal show between the brown spots. This is the cleaner of the two grades, and the blade reads as aged steel rather than a fully corroded surface.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
How the skin looks in Well-Worn
The curved blade is grey steel with a mottled layer of brown and orange rust spread unevenly across the flat and toward the edge. The spine carries saw-tooth ridges and three round holes, and the rust settles around them as well.
Rust covers a large part of the blade, but grey steel still shows through between the patches, especially near the spine. The ring has a noticeable brown patina, and the saw teeth look darkened. In game at normal distance the blade reads as old, spotted metal with visible contrast between grey and brown. The ivory handle and brass rivets look clean.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.4–0.45
The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Talon Knife | Rust Coat is 0.4–1; Well-Worn takes the 0.4–0.45 segment (8% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy
- Look at the float position: copies near the low end of Well-Worn show more grey steel, while high-float Battle-Scarred copies are almost fully rusted.
- Compare screenshots of the blade, since the placement and density of rust spots differ between copies.
- Check the ring and the saw-tooth spine, as these parts show corrosion most clearly in the first-person view.
- Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or carries a name tag, as both change what you are paying for.
Who the Well-Worn quality suits
- Players who want a Talon Knife with a weathered look but still some visible grey steel.
- Buyers who prefer the cleaner of the two available grades of this finish.
- Conclusion: a balanced choice for an aged knife that keeps some contrast in the metal.
