Show allAllSkin overview
Case Hardened turns the faceted Ursus blade into a patchwork of gold, blue and violet tones set against a plain olive handle. In Field-Tested the colours are still clearly readable, while light scratches start to appear along the edge and near the tip. For many players this is a balanced grade where the pattern stays the main feature.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The finish covers only the blade: a faceted tanto shape with a patina of pale gold and yellow over most of the steel, turning into blue, violet and darker reddish spots toward the spine and guard. The colour placement depends on the pattern, so one copy can be mostly gold while another shows large blue areas.
Light scratches run along the edge and gather near the tip, with some marks starting on the facet lines. The patina on the main flats is still rich, though slightly less glossy. In game the overall pattern is clear, and the scratches show mostly on inspection. The area near the guard usually stays the cleanest.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The float of ★ StatTrak™ Ursus Knife | Case Hardened ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying
- Look at the pattern on both sides of the blade, since the amount of blue versus gold varies strongly between copies.
- Check the float position within the wear grade, as copies near the cleaner end show a sharper edge and tip.
- Inspect the cutting edge and the tip first, because these parts lose the patina before the rest.
- Note whether a name tag is applied and whether it is a StatTrak™ version.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want the recognisable gold and blue patina for everyday use.
- Buyers who prioritise a good pattern over a spotless edge.
- A balanced grade for most people looking at this knife.
