Show allAllSkin overview
The Ursus Knife in Case Hardened is recognisable by its straight tanto point and a blade that shifts from warm yellow to cool blue and purple near the guard. At Minimal Wear the patina is practically intact, with only faint marks that are hard to spot outside close inspection. It gives nearly the same look as the cleanest grade at a more relaxed level of wear.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The finish covers only the blade: a faceted tanto shape with a patina of pale gold and yellow over most of the steel, turning into blue, violet and darker reddish spots toward the spine and guard. The colour placement depends on the pattern, so one copy can be mostly gold while another shows large blue areas.
Tiny marks may appear along the cutting edge or at the very tip. The rest of the blade keeps its colour and shine. At normal viewing distance in game it is hard to tell apart from Factory New. Colour transitions on the facets remain sharp.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The float of ★ StatTrak™ Ursus Knife | Case Hardened ranges from 0 to 1; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 8% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying
- Look at the pattern on both sides of the blade, since the amount of blue versus gold varies strongly between copies.
- Check the float position within the wear grade, as copies near the cleaner end show a sharper edge and tip.
- Inspect the cutting edge and the tip first, because these parts lose the patina before the rest.
- Note whether a name tag is applied and whether it is a StatTrak™ version.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want a near-clean look without aiming for the very top grade.
- Pattern hunters who accept tiny marks on the edge.
- A sensible middle ground between condition and cost.
