Skin overview

The Stiletto Knife's case-hardened colours sit on the blade and fittings as mottled gold, blue and purple patches. In Well-Worn the finish looks noticeably used: the tones are duller and scratches run along the blade, though the overall colour mix still reads. It suits buyers who like a knife that looks carried rather than kept in a display case.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The long, narrow blade is mostly golden yellow, with blue and violet heat tints gathering near the tip and at the base by the bolster. The bolster, guard and pommel show the strongest iridescent blue-purple tones, giving the knife a bright accent at both ends of the handle.

Scratches cover much of the edge and spread over the flat of the blade. The colours look duller overall, and the transitions between gold and blue become less sharp. The bolster and pommel show clear rubbing on their raised areas. In game the knife looks used, though the colour mix is still recognisable.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

What to check before buying

  • Look at the pattern of each specific copy, since the amount and placement of blue and gold on the blade differ from one Case Hardened knife to another.
  • Check the inspect screenshots for how much blue sits on the visible side of the blade rather than only on the fittings.
  • Compare the float within the wear grade, especially for scratches near the edge and tip, which wear first.
  • Note whether the knife has a name tag or StatTrak™, as both change what you are buying.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Players who like a knife that looks used and carried.
  • Budget-minded buyers who still want visible heat colours.
  • Suits those who value the model and colours over a clean surface.
