★ Survival Knife | Crimson Web in Battle-Scarred keeps the same red-and-black web idea, but in a heavily scratched form. Large areas of the blade edge, tip and gut hook show metal, and the web lines are broken up in places. It is the cheapest way into this finish for those who like a knife that looks used in the field.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The whole blade, from the angled tip to the guard, is painted red with a black spider web pattern spread unevenly across both the flat and the spine. The gut hook, the long slot cutout and the jimping near the guard are coated in the same red, while the serrated teeth show bright bare metal.
Battle-Scarred has heavy scratching over large parts of the blade, with metal exposed along the whole edge, the tip and the gut hook. The web pattern survives only in patches on the central flat. In game the knife reads as a worn red blade with a lot of silver showing through. The grey handle stays unchanged, which makes the contrast with the scratched blade stronger.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.8

What to check before buying
- Look at how the web lines fall on the visible side of the blade, since pattern placement varies between copies.
- Check the tip, cutting edge and gut hook first, as these parts lose paint before the rest of the blade.
- Compare the float position within the wear grade, because a low float in Field-Tested or Well-Worn looks noticeably cleaner.
- Decide whether you want the StatTrak™ version or a name tag, as both are offered on this knife.
