★ Talon Knife | Doppler (Sapphire) pairs a curved blade in deep blue with an ivory handle set with brass rivets. The blade carries soft marbling in lighter blue and pale silver over a dark sapphire base, and the same blue reaches the bolster and the finger ring. In Factory New the candy coat is unbroken, so the colour shifts across the blade stay smooth and even from edge to spine.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The curved blade is covered in a deep sapphire blue with lighter blue and silvery-white marbling that drifts across the flat and toward the edge. The saw-tooth spine with its cut-out holes takes the same blue, so the teeth stand out as dark shapes against the light. The handle stays in ivory with brass rivets and a round central emblem, while the bolster and the finger ring repeat the blue of the blade. The layout of lighter and darker areas differs from copy to copy, so some knives show more pale marbling and others a more solid blue. On worn copies the coating goes first at the blade tip, along the edge and on the raised spine teeth, then around the ring.

In Factory New the blue coating covers the blade, spine teeth, bolster and ring without visible breaks. The tip and the edge keep their full colour, and the marbling looks crisp in inspect. In game the knife shows as a solid deep blue blade against the ivory grip at any normal distance. Copies at the low end of the range look the same even under close inspection.
