Show allAllSkin overview
In Battle-Scarred the Night Stripe finish is reduced to patches of slate and navy paint over a heavily exposed steel blade. The stripes remain readable mainly on the grip and around the finger ring. It is the most affordable way into the Talon Knife shape with this skin, and the raw, stripped look is a style of its own.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The whole knife is painted in a matte slate blue base with broad diagonal bands of deep navy and lighter grey-blue, applied with a tape mask so the stripe edges run straight across the surface. On the curved blade the stripes cross from spine to edge, while a thin bare steel bevel follows the cutting edge.
Most of the blade is stripped to steel, with scattered patches of slate and navy paint. The grip contours and the finger ring are worn through in many places. The stripe pattern survives mostly in the recessed areas of the handle. In game the knife looks raw and heavily used, with little of the original camouflage left on the blade.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8
The whole float range of ★ Talon Knife | Night Stripe is 0.06–0.8; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.8 segment (47% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since paint loss on the blade tip and spine teeth grows quickly in the worn grades.
- Inspect the tip, the cutting edge and the saw-tooth spine first, as these parts lose paint before anything else.
- Look at how the stripes fall across the blade, because the tape-mask placement can differ between copies.
- Note whether the knife is StatTrak™ or carries a name tag, and decide if that matters to you.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Players looking for the most affordable way to own this Talon Knife.
- Fans of a raw, stripped steel look over the original camouflage.
- Conclusion: the budget entry grade, chosen for the knife itself rather than the paint.
