AUG | Signal Scanner (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

The skin pairs a matte black AUG with grey furniture and a few colored markings that hint at a scanner interface. In Minimal Wear any marks are tiny and sit on edges, so in normal play the rifle looks practically the same as a fresh copy. It suits buyers who want a clean look without paying for the top grade.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver and stock are covered in matte black paint with thin engraved-looking lines that resemble circuitry. On the side of the body sit small colored details: a green marking near the top and a circular emblem on the stock, with a faint purple sheen along the upper receiver.

Light scuffs may appear on the sharpest edges of the stock and the front of the body. The colored marks remain intact and bright. At normal distance the difference from Factory New is hard to see. The line pattern and the large black surfaces still look clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of AUG | Signal Scanner is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

AUG | Signal Scanner belongs to The Spy Tech Collection, which holds 17 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

The matte black body works well with stickers in green, purple or holographic finishes that echo the small colored marks. Clean tech-style or minimal designs placed along the side of the receiver keep the scanner theme intact.

• Look at where the float sits within the wear range, since the small colored marks fade earlier than the black base.
• Inspect the stock edges and the top of the receiver, which are the first areas to scratch.
• Souvenir copies exist, so check whether the item carries souvenir stickers and whether they suit you.
• Check applied stickers and the name tag, as they change how the dark body looks.
