Show allAllSkin overview
The Aztec finish turns the M249 into a carved green artefact with a glyph mask and dense patterned bands along the body. Well-Worn copies show clear scratching on the raised parts and edges, giving the gun a rougher, aged look. For a theme about ruins, rust and moss, that worn character feels in place.
Item type: machinegun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The receiver and top cover carry a dense olive and moss-green relief in the style of carved stone, with a large glyph mask on the side of the receiver. The handguard and stock continue the same carved bands, while the barrel, sights and bipod area stay dark gunmetal.
Wear spreads from the edges onto the raised relief of the receiver and handguard. The magazine shows clear scratching on its corners and flat sides. At normal distance the gun looks noticeably weathered but the overall green motif holds. The mask is still recognisable, though less sharp.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
The float of M249 | Aztec ranges from 0 to 0.75; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 9% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The CS20 Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from CS20 Case.
Price by quality
Among 4 skins of the M249 in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin ranks 3rd by price, counting from the dearest.
StatTrak™ and Souvenir
There is also a the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon tracks kills. Right now it is 2.6× dearer than the regular one. There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, bronze and earthy brown stickers fit the carved-relic theme, as do muted greens that blend into the relief. The plain pale green magazine is the most visible flat surface and works well for a single accent sticker.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a copy near the cleaner end shows noticeably less edge wear.
- Inspect the top cover edges and magazine corners, as these lose colour first on this finish.
- Look at the mask glyph on the receiver to see how sharp it stays on the copy you are buying.
- Check for applied stickers or a name tag, which can change how the copy fits your plans.
Who the Well-Worn quality suits
- Budget-minded players who want the design with a weathered character.
- Buyers who see the wear as part of the excavated-relic idea.
- A cheaper option that still keeps the motif recognisable.
