Skin overview

MP7 | Short Ochre is a plain two-tone finish: a sandy tan body paired with deep yellow parts. In Factory New the paint is even and unbroken, so the contrast between the tan receiver and the ochre magazine, foregrip and stock pad is at its sharpest. It suits a buyer who wants a simple, warm-coloured MP7 with nothing distracting on it.

Item type: smg. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Factory New

The receiver and upper body are painted a light sandy tan, with the top rail, side rail, sights, trigger guard and muzzle left in dark grey metal. The magazine, the folding foregrip and the stock butt pad are a richer ochre yellow, and a small orange accent sits near the trigger. The pistol grip is a pale cream shade with its textured panel kept visible, and a small red marking is printed on the side of the body. On worn copies the paint goes first at the muzzle, the edges of the rails and sight bases, the bottom of the magazine and the corners of the stock, where bare metal begins to show.

The paint is complete on every part, with clean borders between the tan body and the ochre magazine, foregrip and stock pad. The muzzle, rails and sights show only their natural dark metal. In game the colours look flat and uniform from any distance. Everything still looks clean.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Warm stickers in gold, orange, brown or black match the tan and ochre palette well. Placing them on the flat side of the receiver keeps them clear of the dark rails and lets them stand out against the sandy paint.

What to check before buying

  • Since the finish is a plain solid colour, the float position within the wear grade matters more than any pattern, so compare the float values of the copies on offer.
  • Look at the muzzle, rail edges and magazine bottom in the inspect view, as these are the first places to lose paint.
  • Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so check whether you want those stickers on the weapon.
  • Check for any applied stickers or a name tag and decide whether they fit your plans for the skin.

Who the Factory New quality suits

  • For players who want the cleanest version of a simple warm-coloured MP7.
  • For sticker crafts where an even, unmarked background matters.
  • A good choice if you want the skin exactly as it was designed.
