Skin overview

This MP7 is painted in warm yellow tones, and in Well-Worn that paint is clearly thinning. Grey metal shows through at the muzzle, the rail edges and the corners of the magazine, while the larger flat surfaces still carry the original colour. The result is a weathered, desert-like look that some players prefer.

Item type: smg. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The receiver and upper body are painted a light sandy tan, with the top rail, side rail, sights, trigger guard and muzzle left in dark grey metal. The magazine, the folding foregrip and the stock butt pad are a richer ochre yellow, and a small orange accent sits near the trigger.

The chips from lower grades grow into scuffed patches of grey metal on the muzzle, rails, magazine corners and stock edges. The foregrip and the grip panel also begin to lose paint at their edges. In game the weapon looks clearly used, though the yellow parts still stand out. The central flat surfaces of the receiver keep most of their colour.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of MP7 | Short Ochre is 0–0.747; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (9% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Radiant Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 9 skins of the MP7 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the most affordable.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Warm stickers in gold, orange, brown or black match the tan and ochre palette well. Placing them on the flat side of the receiver keeps them clear of the dark rails and lets them stand out against the sandy paint.

What to look at before you buy

  • Since the finish is a plain solid colour, the float position within the wear grade matters more than any pattern, so compare the float values of the copies on offer.
  • Look at the muzzle, rail edges and magazine bottom in the inspect view, as these are the first places to lose paint.
  • Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so check whether you want those stickers on the weapon.
  • Check for any applied stickers or a name tag and decide whether they fit your plans for the skin.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • For players who prefer a weathered, desert-like weapon.
  • For a budget way to change the default MP7 look.
  • Fits those who value character over cleanliness.
