Skin overview

Nova | Marsh Grass covers the shotgun in golden grass blades on a dark olive base, a pattern meant to look like marsh camouflage. The skin's float range ends early, so Battle-Scarred is less damaged than on many other finishes. Expect heavy rubbing on edges and ribs while the main reed texture remains readable.

Item type: shotgun. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, barrel and stock are covered in a dark olive-brown base with a dense overlay of thin golden grass stalks crossing in every direction. The pump forend is a solid tan colour with deep ribs, and the same tan ribbing appears on the grip section of the stock.

The muzzle, pump ribs and grip ribbing carry the heaviest rubbing, and the barrel pattern is broken in places. The edges of the receiver and the bottom of the stock are visibly worn. Because the float range ends early, the damage stops short of the most extreme look. The reed texture on the broad sides of the stock and receiver is still readable in game.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.55

The float of Nova | Marsh Grass ranges from 0 to 0.55; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.55 — 18% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Radiant Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, brown and olive stickers blend with the reed pattern and keep the hunting-camo theme intact. Placing them on the dark receiver or the stock keeps the tan pump ribbing clean, while a single green or black accent can add contrast without breaking the look.

What to check before buying

  • Look at the float within the wear grade, since a low value keeps the pump ribs and muzzle cleaner.
  • Check the tan ribbing on the pump and grip first, as these raised parts lose the finish earliest.
  • Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so decide whether you want them or a plain copy.
  • There is no StatTrak version of this skin, so do not look for one.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Budget entry for players who want this camo on their Nova.
  • Fans of heavy wear, here softened by the early end of the float range.
  • The cheapest way into the skin with the pattern still readable.
