Skin overview

This Nova wears a dense marsh camouflage of crossing yellow reeds on a dark earthy base, with plain tan ribbing on the pump and stock. At Minimal Wear the difference from a fresh copy is limited to faint marks on edges that are hard to spot in game. A sensible choice if you want an almost untouched look without chasing the top grade.

Item type: shotgun. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver, barrel and stock are covered in a dark olive-brown base with a dense overlay of thin golden grass stalks crossing in every direction. The pump forend is a solid tan colour with deep ribs, and the same tan ribbing appears on the grip section of the stock.

Small scratches may appear on the muzzle and on the tips of the pump ribs. The pattern on the receiver and stock stays fully intact. At normal distance the gun is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. The busy reed motif hides what little wear there is.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Nova | Marsh Grass is 0–0.55; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (15% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

The skin’s collection is The Radiant Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Gold, brown and olive stickers blend with the reed pattern and keep the hunting-camo theme intact. Placing them on the dark receiver or the stock keeps the tan pump ribbing clean, while a single green or black accent can add contrast without breaking the look.

What to check before buying

• Look at the float within the wear grade, since a low value keeps the pump ribs and muzzle cleaner.
• Check the tan ribbing on the pump and grip first, as these raised parts lose the finish earliest.
• Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so decide whether you want them or a plain copy.
• There is no StatTrak version of this skin, so do not look for one.
