Show allAllSkin overview
Marsh Grass gives the Nova a hunting-camo look built from golden grass strokes on a dark brown-olive finish. In Field-Tested the busy pattern hides scuffs well, so the gun still reads as a uniform reed texture at normal distance. Wear shows mostly on the muzzle, the pump ribs and the edges of the stock.
Item type: shotgun. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The receiver, barrel and stock are covered in a dark olive-brown base with a dense overlay of thin golden grass stalks crossing in every direction. The pump forend is a solid tan colour with deep ribs, and the same tan ribbing appears on the grip section of the stock.
Wear spreads along the muzzle, the pump ribs and the grip ribbing, with light scuffs on the receiver edges. Some grass strokes on the barrel lose definition. In game the camouflage still reads as one consistent pattern. The central part of the stock and the sides of the receiver look mostly clean.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Nova | Marsh Grass is 0–0.55; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (42% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Radiant Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Compared with the Field-Tested quality, the others go like this:
- Factory New — 2× dearer
- Minimal Wear — about the same
- Well-Worn — about the same
- Battle-Scarred — about the same
Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.
Among 10 skins of the Nova in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 9th by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Gold, brown and olive stickers blend with the reed pattern and keep the hunting-camo theme intact. Placing them on the dark receiver or the stock keeps the tan pump ribbing clean, while a single green or black accent can add contrast without breaking the look.
What to check before buying
- Look at the float within the wear grade, since a low value keeps the pump ribs and muzzle cleaner.
- Check the tan ribbing on the pump and grip first, as these raised parts lose the finish earliest.
- Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so decide whether you want them or a plain copy.
- There is no StatTrak version of this skin, so do not look for one.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who want the camo look in game, where the busy pattern hides scuffs.
- Buyers looking for a balanced copy for everyday use.
- A solid pick if the skin will mostly be seen at play distance.
