Nova | Marsh Grass is a Consumer Grade hydrographic finish that covers the shotgun in thin golden grass blades over a dark olive-brown base. In Factory New the stalks stay crisp and the tan ribbing on the pump and stock keeps an even, unbroken tone. It is the cleanest way to see the full reed pattern on this weapon.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Appearance in Factory New

The receiver, barrel and stock are covered in a dark olive-brown base with a dense overlay of thin golden grass stalks crossing in every direction. The pump forend is a solid tan colour with deep ribs, and the same tan ribbing appears on the grip section of the stock. The barrel carries the reed pattern up to the muzzle, while the stock shows the largest uninterrupted area of the grass motif. On worn copies the hydrographic film rubs off first on the muzzle, the raised ribs of the pump and grip, the edges of the receiver and the bottom of the stock.

The grass stalks are sharp and the dark base is uniform across the receiver, barrel and stock. The tan ribs of the pump and grip have no visible marks. In game the gun reads as a clean, dense reed texture. Every part of the finish looks fresh.
