Show allAllSkin overview
Canal Spray reads as a cool blue-green revolver with a mottled grip and a dark, slightly weathered frame. In Field-Tested the edges of the top rail, cylinder and muzzle start to lose paint, and that fits the casual spray-can theme rather than spoiling it. The overall colour still carries clearly at normal viewing distance.
Item type: pistol. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The frame and barrel shroud are coated in a dusty teal with short diagonal blue spray strokes, while the dark base metal shows along the top rail, the ejector rod housing and the edges of the frame. The muzzle and the chamber ends of the cylinder stay bare silver, which gives the front of the revolver a light accent against the cool paint.
Paint wears through along the top rail, the muzzle, the cylinder flutes and the hammer spur, exposing more dark metal. The trigger guard edges begin to show light rubbing. In game the revolver still looks teal overall, with a slightly weathered outline. The frame sides and most of the grip stay well covered.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of R8 Revolver | Canal Spray is 0.06–0.6; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (43% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
R8 Revolver | Canal Spray belongs to The Canals Collection, which holds 18 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Among 7 skins of the R8 Revolver in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Blue, teal, silver and white stickers keep the cool palette, while a single orange or gold sticker gives a clear accent against the blue-green. Placements on the frame side above the trigger stay visible without covering the spray strokes.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the top rail and muzzle edges show the difference first.
- Look at the cylinder and hammer, which lose paint early on worn copies.
- On Souvenir copies, check which pre-applied stickers are on the revolver and how they sit on the teal coat.
- Check for a name tag or applied stickers if you plan your own craft.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who want the teal colour clearly visible and do not mind edge wear.
- Buyers who like a lightly used look that fits the spray-can theme.
- Conclusion: a balanced everyday choice.
