Show allAllSkin overview
This is a plain spray-paint finish in teal and blue, built on the dark metal of the R8 rather than on bold artwork. At Minimal Wear the coat looks almost the same as on a fresh copy, with only faint marks on the sharpest edges. It gives practically the Factory New look without having to hunt for the narrowest float band.
Item type: pistol. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The frame and barrel shroud are coated in a dusty teal with short diagonal blue spray strokes, while the dark base metal shows along the top rail, the ejector rod housing and the edges of the frame. The muzzle and the chamber ends of the cylinder stay bare silver, which gives the front of the revolver a light accent against the cool paint.
Tiny scuffs may appear on the muzzle edge and the corners of the top rail. The frame sides, cylinder body and grip remain fully painted. At normal distance it is hard to tell apart from Factory New. The grip texture and the stroke pattern look untouched.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of R8 Revolver | Canal Spray is 0.06–0.6; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (15% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
R8 Revolver | Canal Spray belongs to The Canals Collection, which holds 18 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Among 7 skins of the R8 Revolver in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Blue, teal, silver and white stickers keep the cool palette, while a single orange or gold sticker gives a clear accent against the blue-green. Placements on the frame side above the trigger stay visible without covering the spray strokes.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the top rail and muzzle edges show the difference first.
- Look at the cylinder and hammer, which lose paint early on worn copies.
- On Souvenir copies, check which pre-applied stickers are on the revolver and how they sit on the teal coat.
- Check for a name tag or applied stickers if you plan your own craft.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want a near-clean revolver without chasing the narrow Factory New band.
- Crafters fine with faint edge marks that are hidden in game.
- Conclusion: almost the same look at a more relaxed grade.
