Souvenir AK-47 | Orbit Mk01 (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Field-Tested Orbit Mk01 still reads as a red and black AK-47 at a glance, with the segmented magazine as its most noticeable detail. Light scratches appear along edges of the handguard, receiver and magazine, giving the finish a used, working look. For many players this is the balance point between a recognisable design and a lower entry cost.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver is painted deep red with a dark graphite dust cover and black panels with small technical markings along its side. The handguard and gas tube combine black and grey sections with red accents, while the barrel and front sight stay dark.

Scratches become visible along the magazine ribs, the edges of the dust cover and the front of the handguard. The stock picks up worn corners, and the red looks slightly less even. In first person the magazine wear is the most noticeable, though the overall design still reads clearly. Flat areas of the receiver side mostly stay clean.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir AK-47 | Orbit Mk01 is 0–0.55; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (42% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, black, silver and holo stickers in a red tone fit the scheme best and keep the technical look intact. Placing them on the dark dust cover or the black receiver panels gives good contrast without hiding the red. Bright greens or blues will clash with the palette unless a deliberate contrast is the goal.

What to check before buying

• Check the float position within the wear range, since the magazine segments show the difference first.
• Look at the magazine ribs and the edges of the dust cover, as these are the first parts to lose paint.
• Note any applied stickers or name tag, since they change how the red receiver reads.
• Decide whether you want a StatTrak™ or Souvenir version, as both exist for this skin.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who want the recognisable red and black design for everyday matches.
• Buyers looking at a StatTrak™ version on a moderate budget.
• The balanced option between look and cost.
