Skin overview

In Well-Worn the red and black scheme is still there, but the paint has clearly been through use. Exposed metal shows along the edges of the receiver, magazine and stock, and the red looks duller in places. The rifle gets a rough, battered character that some players prefer to a pristine finish.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The receiver is painted deep red with a dark graphite dust cover and black panels with small technical markings along its side. The handguard and gas tube combine black and grey sections with red accents, while the barrel and front sight stay dark.

Paint loss spreads along the magazine and its segments, the receiver edges and the handguard, with bare metal showing through. The stock has worn patches at the edges and the red turns patchy. In game the rifle looks clearly used, but the red and black scheme is still recognisable. The centre of the receiver side and the grip hold up better than the edges.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir AK-47 | Orbit Mk01 is 0–0.55; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (13% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, black, silver and holo stickers in a red tone fit the scheme best and keep the technical look intact. Placing them on the dark dust cover or the black receiver panels gives good contrast without hiding the red. Bright greens or blues will clash with the palette unless a deliberate contrast is the goal.

• Check the float position within the wear range, since the magazine segments show the difference first.
• Look at the magazine ribs and the edges of the dust cover, as these are the first parts to lose paint.
• Note any applied stickers or name tag, since they change how the red receiver reads.
• Decide whether you want a StatTrak™ or Souvenir version, as both exist for this skin.
