Skin overview

This AUG finish is recognisable by its crimson body, gunmetal accents and dense technical line work. In Well-Worn the edges, mounts and magazine show clear bare-metal patches, giving the rifle a used, field-service character. The red-and-grey silhouette still identifies the skin at a glance.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The receiver and stock are covered in deep red paint broken up by dark grey panels, thin engraved-looking lines and small yellow and green accents along the side. The barrel is mostly gunmetal with red sections and a dark muzzle, while the scope stays in neutral grey.

Wear spreads from the edges onto the sides of the receiver and stock, and the magazine shows clear patches of metal. The thin panel lines and small yellow and green accents become broken in places. In game the red still dominates, but the scuffed edges are visible even without inspecting. The central flat areas of the body hold the most paint.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir AUG | Syd Mead ranges from 0 to 0.8; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 9% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir AUG | Syd Mead belongs to The Gamma 2 Collection, which holds 17 skins.

It drops from Gamma 2 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, black, silver and gold stickers sit well with the crimson and gunmetal scheme. Holo or foil stickers with a futuristic or technical style match the concept-art character, and placements on the receiver side keep the red body visible.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies at the cleaner end look noticeably better in the middle grades.
  • Inspect the magazine base, muzzle and body edges, as these lose paint first.
  • Look at any applied stickers or name tag, which can add to or clash with the red artwork.
  • Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so make sure their look suits you.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget-minded players who want this design in their loadout.
  • Fans of a service-worn look with visible metal on the edges.
  • In short: affordable with character.
