Skin overview

This grade keeps the general colour scheme of the AWP, but the mirror coat has lost much of its gloss. Well-Worn copies show scuffed chrome across the receiver and stock, with the purple and orange accents broken up by wear. It suits players who want the recognisable outline of the skin at a lower entry point.

Item type: sniper rifle. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The long barrel and muzzle are finished in dark polished chrome that reflects light along their length. The receiver and stock carry the mirror coat with multicoloured accents, bands of purple, magenta, orange and gold that shift as the light changes.

Wear spreads from the edges across the stock and receiver, and the mirror effect is noticeably weaker. The colour bands are broken up and lose saturation in the worn zones. In game the rifle looks clearly used, with only parts of the body still catching light. The flatter central areas keep some of the colour.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir AWP | Chrome Cannon is 0–1; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (7% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Holographic and foil stickers in purple, gold or orange echo the multicoloured accents and work well with the mirror coat. Placing them along the receiver keeps them on the most colourful part of the rifle without covering the darker barrel.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a lower value keeps more of the mirror shine.
• Look at the edges of the stock and the top of the receiver, where the chrome dulls first.
• Inspect the colour bands on the body to see how much of the multicoloured accent is still intact.
• Note any applied stickers or name tag and decide whether they suit the reflective finish.
