Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred the Directive is mostly a silhouette of the original idea: dark base, traces of teal and heavily rubbed edges. Bare metal shows on the slide, the muzzle and the grip, giving the pistol a raw, weathered look. The layout of panels and the round grip emblems remain recognisable.

Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The slide is dark gunmetal covered with dense horizontal grooves and inset panels tinted deep teal, with a light gradient highlight across its middle and a small red detail near the rear sight. The barrel area and the rail under the slide stay black, keeping the look restrained.

Large areas of the slide show bare metal, and the teal remains only as faded traces in the panels. The muzzle, slide edges and grip corners are heavily rubbed. In game the gun reads as dark and worn, with the panel structure visible but the colour contrast mostly gone. Only recessed details keep some of the original coating.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1

The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Directive ranges from 0.06 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 59% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Gamma 2 Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Gamma 2 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Teal, blue, silver and black stickers blend with the cold palette of the slide. A single red or holographic accent can echo the small red detail near the rear sight. Placements on the flat area of the slide keep the ribbed panels readable.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the float position within the chosen grade, since copies near the cleaner end keep sharper slide edges.
  • Look at the muzzle and the slide edges, as they lose coating first.
  • Look at the teal panels on worn copies to see how even the colour still is.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag so they match your taste.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • The cheapest entry into the Directive.
  • Players who prefer a dark, raw look over bright colour.
  • A minimal-cost pick for those who care about the shape more than the finish.
