Skin overview
Battle-Scarred turns the Desert Eagle into raw grey steel with faded traces of the blue and gold tempering. The colour pattern survives mainly in the middle of the slide and frame, while edges, muzzle and rail are worn down. It is the most affordable way to own the skin and has a rough, industrial look of its own.
Item type: pistol. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
The finish style is case hardening.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The slide, barrel shroud and frame are coated in case-hardened steel: deep blue and violet patches mixed with bronze, copper and pale gold spots. The colours shift unevenly along the slide, around the ejection port and across the trigger guard, so no two areas look the same.
Most edges, the muzzle, the rail and the hammer area are worn to silver-grey metal. The tempered colours survive as faded blue and bronze traces in the middle of the slide and frame. In game the gun reads mostly as worn steel. The grip panels keep their matte grey look throughout.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1
The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Heat Treated ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is Limited Edition Item with 4 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Price by quality
Among 4 skins of the Desert Eagle in the Classified grade and this quality, this skin is the most affordable.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold and holo stickers echo the bronze spots of the tempering, while blue or chrome designs blend into the steel. Placements along the slide work best because the grip panels are plain grey.
What to check before buying
- Check the pattern, because the amount of blue versus gold on the slide differs from copy to copy.
- Look at the float within the wear range, since the muzzle and slide edges lose colour first.
- View the playside of the slide, as that is the part you see most in game.
- Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so check whether they suit the colours.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Budget buyers looking for an entry into the skin.
- Players who like a rough, industrial steel look.
- The lowest-cost way to own Heat Treated.
